In Loving Memory
A Life Remembered
With deep sorrow and fond remembrance, we mark the passing of a cherished soul whose presence touched the lives of all who knew him. Though words cannot fully capture the depth of loss felt by family and friends, this tribute serves as a celebration of a life lived with warmth, kindness, and dignity.

Gerald was predeceased by his parents, Francis and Julia Schoepf, siblings predeceased Thomas, Audrey, Lawrence, and survived by his sister Monica Durakis. He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Gail, and his six children, predeceased Denise Juknuis, and survived by James Schoepf, Heather (James) Wells, Francis Schoepf, Roman (Carly) Henclewski, and Stephenie (Deon) Brown. Survived by his grandchildren Brian, Austin, Nicholette, Dylan, Ethan, Addison, Ryleigh, Mason, Henry, and Luke. Great-grandchildren, Jack and Donna.
Gerald graduated from Morton West High School in 1964 and attended Daley College where he studied Information & Technology and received a certificate in IT. After he pursued a career in IT at Wrigley Gum Corporation where he spent 37 years working. In his free time, he enjoyed hobbies such hiking, camping, bowling, and cruising.
Gerald was always there for his family; he showed love and support through actions not words. He believed in leading by example demonstrating for others the behavior and values he hoped to instill in them.

In loving memory of a wonderful person. Jerry,we will love you and miss you always.Elaine and I went through high school together where we became great friends. The last time we saw him was at our 20th reunion of Morton East High school class of 1965.We had grown apart through those days after graduation but upon seeing him that day,it was like being back in high school once again. He had not changed one bit he was that same wonderful guy we knew back then.We soon lost contact once again until now but it is so sad to here of his passing. Please accept our deepest condolences on a great guy.May he rest in peace in God's Hands.

I worked with Gerry at the Wrigley IT office in the 1970´s . He was a good friend and I enjoyed working with him for the Payroll IT.
When I was on the Board of Directors for the Wrigley Associates Credit Union, we went to Gainesville and we saw Gerry again. He was a great guy. May he Rest In Peace.

When I worked at Gainsville Jerry would always welcome me, his old buddy from Chitown. He was a good friend to us all.
