Gerald (Jerry) Eugene Walls passed at the age of 75 at home on July 28, 2025.

Born in Manchester, TN, on Dec 12, 1949, was the son of Oscar Walls and Naomi D. (Adams) Walls. Jerry (as we all called him) went to the United States Army where he found and married Hedia Walls (not sure what her maiden names was). They had three children, Mary Jane Walls, Tammy Walls, and Bianca Walls, all which live in Germany.

After returning from the Army, Jerry lived the rest of his life in Manchester (Asbury Community), TN. When Bonnaroo started to come to Manchester, Jerry was elected as the first Mayor of Bonnaroo. Jerry worked most of his life as helping farmers and in agriculture. Jerry suffered with Parkinson for the last few years of his life.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death, his brothers, Oscar Wayne Walls, Donnie Walls, Rodger Walls, Edward Walls (died at birth), and Edward (Bo) Walls.

Jerry is survived by his children, Mary Jane Walls, Tammy Walls, Bianca Walls; his brothers, Leroy Walls (Debbie), Howard Walls, Stanley Walls, Dwayne Walls (Amanda); his sisters, Dianne Stroop (Edwin Stroop SR), Wanda Darlene Towry (Paul Towry), Cathy Elmore, Sharon Dykes (Mike Dykes), and Darlene Cassady (Bobby Cassady) and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Friday, August 1, 2025 at Tullahoma Funeral Home in Tullahoma, TN from 11:00 AM to 12:00PM with a Graveside Service at Zion Hill Cemetery 3529 Hillsboro Viola Rd, Hillsboro, TN. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Zion Hill Cemetery in Jerry's Honor.
