Geraldine D. Harrell, a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on August 23, 2025, at 3:55 p.m., after a courageous battle with cancer. She was 89 years old.

Born on September 26, 1935, in Wardensville, West Virginia, Geraldine lived a life marked by love and resilience. She made her home in Virginia Beach on September 21, 1990, where she continued to spread her warmth and kindness. Throughout her career, she made a significant impact in the retail industry as a dedicated Sales Manager, proving herself to be a strong and passionate advocate for her team and customers alike.

Geraldine is survived by her devoted daughter, Duane Clark, and son-in-law, Ray. She cherished her role as grandmother to Justin, his wife Linnea, and was especially fond of her great-granddaughters, Gwyneth and Iyla, who brought immeasurable joy into her life. She also leaves behind her older sister, Madeline, who stands at an impressive 102 years strong, along with many nieces and nephews who will remember her fondly.

A celebration of Geraldine's life will be held on September 7, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at Thalia Lynn Baptist Church in Virginia Beach. Following the service, family and friends are invited to share memories over sweets and coffee, honoring the legacy of a remarkable woman who touched the lives of so many.
