Geraldine LeBouef Ledet

Geraldine LeBouef Ledet, 80, a native of Houma and a resident of Gray, gained her angel wings on Friday, May 19, 2023.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 26, 2023 at St. Bernadette Catholic Church from 9:00 am until the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am. Burial will follow at St. Francis de Sales Cemetery II.
She is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, Reynaud "Palooka" Ledet; children, Pamela Trahan (David), Tammy Vanderpool (Joe), and Daniel "Boone" Ledet (Chastity); ten grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; siblings, Jeanette Trahan, Joyce Naquin, and Russell LeBouef (Glenda); and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Angela Ledet; great-grandchild, Emily Marie Trahan; parents, O'Neil LeBouef and Aline LeBouef Boudreaux; stepfather, Ernest Boudreaux; and siblings, O'Neil LeBouef, Ruffin "Pecan" LeBouef, and Jeannie Marcel.
Geraldine will forever be remembered as a loving wife, mother, "Maw Maw", sister, and a dear friend. She enjoyed playing bingo, cooking, and spending time with her family and friends. Geraldine taught religion, and was a member of the St. Bernadette Catholic Church. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her, but her family has comfort in knowing that she is reunited with her beloved daughter, Angela, in Heaven.
