Geraldine Anne Bullock Mokris, age 78, of Auburn Center, PA passed away on December 3, 2025, at the Tunkhannock Rehabilitation and Health Care Center in Tunkhannock, PA.

Geri was born to the late Gerald (d. October 3, 1987) and Hellen Yucas Bullock (January 11, 1997) in Auburn Center, PA, on March 15, 1947. Geri grew up in Auburn Center at Bullock Hall and graduated with the Elk Lake Class of 1965.

After graduating, Geraldine went on to study nursing at Misericordia University, Luzerne County Community College, and the Regents College of Nursing in Albany, New York, and became a licensed RN. Geri would work at Mercy Hospital and Moses Taylor Hospital in Scranton, PA. She then worked at Tyler Memorial Hospital in Tunkhannock from 1980 to 2000. While at Tyler Memorial, Geri pursued a long and meaningful career, earning many credentials, including EMT and Paramedic. She also served as one of the early members of Tyler Memorial's M.I.C.U: Tyler 601.

After Retirement, Geri could be found having a smile on her face that would make anyone smile. She loved playing bingo and taking trips up to the casino, where she would spend hours playing the slots and three-card poker. She was a member of St. Joachim’s Church of Meshoppen, PA, and St. Bonaventure’s Church in Auburn Twp, PA. Geri was also a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Post 510. Along with spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, Geri would often travel with her loving husband, Myron, and friends. She would go on to take cruises to the Caribbean Islands, Hawaii, Alaska, Ireland, and spent many winters in Florida

Geraldine is survived by her husband, Myron (m. April 8, 1972) of Auburn Center, PA; her sons, Gary Mokris of Erie, PA and Steven Mokris (Debbie) of South Auburn, PA; her grandchildren, Wyatt and Lewis Mokris of Erie, PA; her step-grandchildren, Kristin Dudley (Keith), Nikki Howell (Jeff), Kyle Traver (Caitlin), and Jerri Miller (Nino); her step-greatgrandchildren, Ethan, Asher, Ella, Liam, and Lincoln; her brother, Charles "Chuck" Bullock of Auburn Center, PA; her sister-in-law, Florence Mokris of Wilkes-Barre, PA; her Aunt, Alice Kutsko of New Bern, NC; her nieces and nephews, Cherie, Patty and Cindy Bonavita of Auburn Center, PA, Matthew Bullock of Auburn Center, PA, as well Teresa Bailey, her husband Jeff, and their son, Justin Bailey.

Along with her parents Geraldine was preceded in death by her brother, Stanley Bullock (d. January 1, 1976); her sister, Mary Ann Bonavita (d. January 24, 2013); her brother-in-law, John Bonavita Sr. (d. October 14, 2015); her niece, Lori Bonavita (d. October 14, 2015); and her nephews, John "Boots" Bonavita (d. December 8, 2014), Chris Bonavita (d. April 16, 2016) and Stanley Bonavita (September 17, 2018.)

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, December 11, 2025, at 10:00 AM from St. Joachim's Roman Catholic Church, Sterling Street, Meshoppen, PA, with Father Patrick L. Albert and Deacon Raymond Pieretti. Interment will follow in the St. Bonaventure Cemetery in Auburn Twp. PA.  A visitation will for Geraldine will be held at the Rought Hall American Legion Post #510 Bingo Hall, 328 Old Rte 6 Rd., Laceyville, PA, on Wednesday, December 10, 2025, from 4:00 to 6:00 PM, and a Rosary will be recited by Deacon Raymond Pieretti immediately following the conclusion of the calling hours.
