She was born October 6, 1932 in York. The daughter of the late John and Emma (Godfrey) Barnhart.
Geraldine had worked as a deli clerk for Weis Markets.
A viewing will be 10-11 am Wednesday August 7, 2024 at the John W. Keffer Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. 902 Mt. Rose Ave. York. A funeral service will follow at 11 am. Burial will be in Mt. Rose Cemetery.
Geraldine is survived by her children: Lora L. Lowery and husband Terry L. Lowery, Darlene Webb and husband James W. Webb Jr, Roxanne Schmid (husband Robert Schmid deceased), Rodney L. Welsh and wife Franny, Michael P. Welsh and wife Gale, eight grandchildren: Gregory L. Welsh, Jarrid G. McMillian, Tarrah C. Barnett, Colleen L. Myers, Amy S. Ebaugh, Jamie L. Webb, James W. Webb, lll., Tisha A. Leiphart, numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren, a brother John Barnhart. She was preceded in death by a daughter Colleen M. Welsh.
