"Little Gerry," as we called him, was my little cousin. He was a sweet, gentle, rather quiet and thoughtful as a boy, who was modest about his talents, accomplishments and sterling character. As children we lived close enough that we enjoyed frequent visits, often involving animals, nature and model airplanes. As adults we were geographically distant, but it was always a pleasure to see him and his charming wife, Karen. The last time I saw him, he reminded me that when we were kids, I had given him a set of wheels with which he built a soap box racing car that he competed with and of how grateful he was for that gift. I did not remember the doing so, but he did, and I was touched that he remembered and made a point of telling me how important it was to him at the time. It made me feel good about myself, and I suspect he did so with many in his life.
The earth is not a good a place with him walking on it.
Love and condolences to all his family and loved ones,
Cousin, Rick Michael

I had no recollection of that, but felt touched that he remembered and was kind enough to tell me after all those years. Made me feel good about myself. I suspect he did that for a lot of people in his life. I wi
