Jeivonia "Gigi" Allen, 66, of rural Wabash, Indiana, died at 7:15 pm, Saturday, June 7, 2025, at her home surrounded by her family. She was born on April 19, 1959, in Wabash, to Aubert Humiston Bair and Dorothy Mae (Spears) Saxen.
Gigi worked at Markhon in Wabash, was the human resources director at the Shirt Shed in Miami, Florida, Chattanooga, Tennessee, and also Wabash. She also worked as a bookkeeper for The Love Bug in Wabash, and before she retired Gigi was the human resources director at Riverside Podiatry in Marion, Indiana retiring in 2023. She enjoyed traveling, baking, caring for others, and loved taking road trips with her fiancée, Steve Stairs. Gigi was an oil painter and sketch artist. Her true passion was art and people.
She is survived by her long time fiancée, Steven Stairs of Wabash, daughter, Heather (Mike) Allen Hoover of Wabash, two step children, Stephanie (T.J.) Evertts of Waterloo, Indiana, and Eric Stairs of Angola, Indiana, granddaughter, Macy (Andy Mallott) Hoover of Wabash, two step granddaughters, Charlotte Evertts and Marian Evertts, both of Waterloo, and two sisters, Cindy (Keith) Bailey and Betty Walters, both of Wabash. She was preceded in death by her parents.
There will be no services. Arrangements by Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service, Wabash.
Preferred memorial is Mississinewa 1812.
