Gilbert L. Crawford II

Gilbert Lee Crawford II, 67, of Indianapolis, went to be with his Lord and Savior on February 12, 2025. He was born on September 13, 1957 in Indianapolis, IN to the late Gilbert Lee Crawford I, and Janice Faye Patterson Hix.
He graduated from Manual High School. He attained his Associates Degree in Nursing from the University of Indianapolis. He was the owner/operator of Crawford Mobile Welding. He was an avid Motor Sports fan, receiving several trophies from his drag racing days and won multiple awards from his Speed Skating.
Survivors include his wife Debbie F. Crawford; daughters Heather (Vic) Rice, Kimberly (Russ) Crist and Candice Crawford and Heidi(Andy) Jenkins; sons Jason (Angela) Seidensticker and Zacchaeus Crawford; 12 grandchildren; Jordan, Ally, Emma, Gavyn, Courtney, McKaylynn (Jayden) Colton, Lauren, Gavin, Preston, Melody, and Blake and great grandson Denver Longest; 3 sisters Sue, Tonya and Madawna and his brother Butch Hix.
He was preceded in death by his 2 brothers, Troy and Cliff, also preceeding is his stepfather Harold Hix and stepmother Robbie Crawford.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, February 18, 2025 from 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM Westside Apostolic Pentecostal Church, 1540 W. Ohio Street, Indianapolis, IN, with the Celebration of Life at 1:00pm.
He will be laid to rest at Round Hill Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Westside Apostolic Pentecostal Church and flowers are welcomed as well.
He prefers attending guests to wear festive colors (Pink), as this will be a Celebration of Life
