Ginger Marie Busta

Ginger Marie Busta passed away at her home in Kooskia, Idaho on January 26th, 2025, with her daughter Dawn Bates by her side.

The daughter of Frank and Mabel Busta, Ginger was born in Cleveland OH on August 10th, 1943. She graduated from Aurora High School in 1962.

Ginger and her two children, Dawn Bates and David Busta, lived in NorthEast Ohio where she enjoyed working for a well drilling company, until David headed west to become a guide for a hunting outfit. Ginger soon followed.

There Ginger lived in North Central Idaho on Harris Ridge for the rest of her life, cooking for outfitters and occasionally flagging for road crews. She worked at Loving Hands for several years and Clonengers the last few months of her life. Ginger enjoyed the natural beauties of Idaho, her horses, picking morel mushrooms to share with friends, and her English Shepards dogs. Ginger loved the Lord and enjoyed her Church family. Her hobbies were hiking in the woods, reading, and collecting marbles.

Ginger leaves her children, Dawn Bates (Jim) and David Busta (Sheri), grandchildren, Huntre McComas (Cody), Dayne Bates, HyVennah Bates, and sister, Judy Wilson. In lieu of flowers or other signs of respect for Ginger she suggested donations be made to Valley Bible Church , P.O. box 280 Kooskia Id.
