In His infinite wisdom God called home Mrs. Ginger Lizette Jones, of Charles City, Thursday, December 19th, 2023.
Ginger was born January 19. 1966 to the late Richard B. Mayo and Joyce A. Bradby. She was raised in the Blackwell area of Richmond and later moved to Charles City as a teenager where she graduated from Charles City High School in 1983, at the age of 17. Ginger worked for the Virginia Department of Taxation for over 30 years where she retired with valued service. She also loved interior design and also worked for a Home Interior Company for several years where she was often rewarded as a top seller.
She leaves to cherish in her memories a loving a devoted husband for 31 years, Malvin (Mack) Jones Jr.; two sons, Malvin, III, and Mario; and a host of cousins, and other relatives and friends, to include close friends and family, William Henry Mayo, Jr., Deidra Taylor, and Gina Bradby. There is nothing on earth that Ginger Loved more than her family.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 2pm, Friday, December 29th, 2023 at Gilfield Baptist Church, 6440 Church Lane, Charles City, VA, 23030. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

I will always remember Ginger for her advice and having a level head. She was a co worker at the Va Department of Taxation & a dear friend. My condolences to Mack & her Sons Malvinas & Mario who were her pride & joy. Rest in Paradise my friend you will be missed.
