Giuseppe DiFiore, 79, passed away on Monday, July 14, 2025 peacefully in his sleep at Salemhaven Rehabilitation Center. He fought a long, courageous battle, showing remarkable strength and resilience throughout his illnesses. He was born on February 21,1946 in Palermo, Sicily and was the son late Ferdinando and Antonia (Cusimano) DiFiore.
Giuseppe "Joe", lovingly known as Pippo by his family, led a very fulfilling life dedicated to his family. He immigrated to the United States in 1968, where he started his career as an entry level jeweler in New York City, gradually moving his way up to a management role which eventually brought him to New Hampshire. His strong work ethic and dedication was apparent in every aspect of his life.
Giuseppe enjoyed fishing, trap shooting, hunting, and growing his own vegetables; especially his lemon tree that he lovingly cared for while living in Florida. He was a larger-than-life man who lived for his daily Market Basket runs. His boisterous personality filled every room he was in and his laughter was contagious. One of his final wishes was for his family to always be there for each other and continue his family's traditions especially "Sunday Sauce" dinners and to continue to love and care for his beloved wife Francesca. Giuseppe's legacy lives on through his family, who vows to keep his memory alive through reminiscing about his childhood stories growing up in Sicily and their own fond memories of the impact he had on their lives.
Giuseppe is survived by his loving wife Francesca (Ferrante) after 56 beautiful years of marriage. He is survived by his two children Antonia Cilluffo and her husband Gaetano Cilluffo, and Ferdinando DiFiore and his wife Dawn DiFiore. He also leaves his grandchildren Mario Joseph Cilluffo, Marco Anthony Cilluffo and his wife Nicole Elizabeth Cilluffo, Alexandra Lilly DiFiore, and Samantha Rae DiFiore. He was sadly predeceased by his four older siblings Rosetta, Antonina, Giuseppa, and Giacomo.
