It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Laura Elyse DiFiore, 39, of Ocoee, Florida, who passed away on March 6, 2025, surrounded by love after a courageous three-year battle with cancer. Laura's strength, faith, and love for her family remained constant throughout her journey. She was a loving wife, a devoted mother, a wonderful daughter and sister, and a treasured friend whose memory will forever live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
Laura was born in New York to George and Sandra Negrón and moved to Palm Coast, Florida, in 1987. She graduated from The University of Central Florida in 2008 with a degree in Early Childhood Education and worked as a Kindergarten and First Grade teacher for several years. Laura also pursued other passions later in life that offered more flexibility as she focused on raising her children.
Laura met her loving husband, Kenneth DiFiore II, during their childhood years. Though they first crossed paths as kids, their bond truly deepened when they reconnected in high school and began dating. Their connection blossomed into a deep and lasting love, and they became high school sweethearts. In February 2012, they were married, and their relationship continued to grow stronger with each passing year, weathering life's ups and downs together. They built a life together based on love, trust, and unwavering support, truly embodying their vows through sickness and health, in good times and bad.
Laura's greatest joy was being a mother to her two children, Zachary, 11, and Brielle, 6. She poured her heart and soul into raising them, always striving to be the best mom she could be. Zachary and Brielle were the center of her world, and she fought fiercely for every moment she had with them.
Laura will be forever remembered for so many qualities - her infectious humor, her immense strength, her incredible courage, and the endless love she gave to everyone around her. She was an amazing mother, a fighter, and a beautiful soul who made a lasting impact on all who were fortunate enough to know her. While we will miss her deeply, we take comfort in knowing that she is now free of suffering and resting in Heaven. Her legacy of love, kindness, and bravery will continue to live on in the hearts of all who were touched by her.
In addition to her husband and children, Laura is survived by her loving parents, George and Sandra Negrón, and her cherished sisters, Gina Schrandt and Marisa Negrón. Laura deeply appreciated the devotion, love, and support from her family.
A small service for family and friends will be held on Saturday, April 5, 2025, at 1 P.M. at Baldwin Brothers Heritage Place, located at 1654 N Semoran Blvd, Orlando, Florida. Due to space limitations, there will be a larger Celebration of Life for extended family and friends at a later date, to celebrate Laura with all of those who loved her.
