Giuseppe Evola, of Riverview, Michigan passed away on Thursday, February 6, 2025 at the age of 84. Beloved husband of 57 years to Providence Evola. Cherished father of Girolama (Rodney) Norris, Calogero (Linda) Evola, and Maddalena (Frank) Leone. Loving grandfather of Sara and Travis Norris, Giuseppe, Alessia, Daniela, and Francesca Evola, and Mia, Sicilia, and Francesco Leone. Caring brother of Phyllis (Phillip) Salamone. Dearest uncle and great-uncle to many nieces and nephews and adored friend to all. Giuseppe was preceded in death by his parents Calogero and Girolama Evola and his siblings Salvatore (Pieta) Evola, Benedetta (Joe) Iacopelli, and Anna Evola. He was a dedicated business owner for 40 years serving the Downriver community. His loss in an immense one and he will be deeply missed.
Visitation for Giuseppe will take place on Monday, February 10, 2025 from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the Allen Park Chapel of The Martenson Family of Funeral Homes located at 10915 Allen Road, 48101. There will be a scripture reading held at the funeral home on Monday evening at 6:00 p.m. A Mass of Resurrection will be held the following day, Tuesday, February 11, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church located at 2565 3rd St., Trenton, MI 48183. The In State time will be held at 10:30 a.m. There will be a procession to Michigan Memorial Park Cemetery where Giuseppe will be entombed.
