Bunny was born on September 18, 1950, in Mount Vernon, NY to Theodore and Beatrice Odell. She graduated from Mount Vernon High School and eventually went on to work as a tax preparer and bookkeeper for over 30 years. Her life took her from New York to North Carolina, before settling back north in New Jersey. She was a devoted mother, grandmother and friend known for her love of puzzles and games, where she was never shy about demonstrating her competitive nature or love to gamble.
She is survived by her children Thomas (Kerry) and Christina, as well as her siblings Chester, Clifford (Peggy) and John (Karen). She is also survived by her grandchildren Hannah, Quinn, John, Matthew and Kyle who will all miss their "Mimi" tremendously. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Theodore and her sisters Joan and Linda.
Visitation will take place at Joseph W. Sorce Funeral Home in West Nyack NY on Saturday, April 26 from 2:00pm to 5:00pm. Burial to follow on Sunday, April 27 at the Kensico Cemetery in Valhalla, NY at 11:00am.
The family would like to thank the staffs at Sunrise of Old Tappan and Pascack Valley Medical Center for the care and compassion they showed Bunny towards the end of her life's journey.
