Gladys Louise Stamm, a cherished matriarch, passed away peacefully on June 25, 2025, at the age of 99, in Farmington, Missouri surrounded by her loved ones. Born on August 30, 1925, in St. Louis, Missouri, to the late Ernest and Francis (Lober) Doorack.

Gladys was a dedicated member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, where she found both solace and fellowship throughout her years. An avid St. Louis Cardinals fan, Gladys found joy in cheering for her team and sharing this passion with those around her.If you weren’t a fan when you came to her house, you were when you left! She also enjoyed knitting and crocheting, cooking and baking. She loved playing cards with her friends and especially loved playing Mexican train dominoes with her grandchildren, creating lasting memories that will be treasured by her family.

Gladys is survived by her beloved children: Nancy Hunt of Farmington, MO, Betty (husband, Loren) Peer of Westchester, CA, Daniel Stamm of St. Louis, MO, Bradley Stamm of Seguin, TX, Jayne (husband, Robert) Pothetos of Park Hills, MO, Melissa (husband, Jonathan) Losos of Ladue, MO, and Patricia Ryan of Overland Park, KS. She was a proud grandmother to John Hunt, Gavin Hunt, Kimberly Boch, Danielle Stamm, Janelle James, Phillip Stamm, Jason Stamm, Henry Stamm, Bradley Stamm, Alisha Pothetos, Jessica Pothetos, Kevin Pothetos, and Sara Ellis, and is also survived by many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren, her siblings: Ralph Doorack of Lima, Peru, Doris Freeman of Ellisville, MO, Janet (husband, Phil) Fitzgerald Martschinsky of Blue Ridge, TX, Joseph (wife, Mary Ann) Doorack of San Antonio, TX, and Ernest Doorack of Ellisville, MO, as well as her sisters-in-law, JoAnn Doorack of Concord, CA, and Beatrice Doorack of St. Louis, MO and many other family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest and Francis (Lober) Doorack, her husband, Henry Bryan Stamm, her son, Timothy Stamm, her siblings Eunice (the late John) Noble, Raymond Doorack, William "Bill" Doorack, and Francis Murphy, along with her sons-in-law, John Hunt and George Ryan, and her brother-in-law, Carmen Freeman.

A memorial mass will be held on Wednesday, July 2, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Father Gerson Meza as celebrant. Inurnment at New Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
