Decatur ~ Glenda Boyd, 81, peacefully went to be with our Lord & Savior Monday, February 12, 2024.
Graveside Service is 10:00 a.m. Saturday, February 17, 2024 at Oaklawn Cemetery. Visitation Service will be 6-8:00 p.m. Friday at Hawkins Funeral Home in Decatur.
Pastor Allen Bates will officiate.
Glenda was born December 12, 1942 in Paradise, Texas. She was a retired Nurse after many years in the Medical Industry. Glenda was a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend to many who will miss her dearly.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a granddaughter, Tavia Morton; ex-husband, Johnnye Morton, and daughter-in-law, Diana Morton.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her sons, Johnnye Morton and wife Charlotte of Runaway Bay, and Donny Morton of Decatur; her grandchildren, Brandy & Ronny Morton, Justine Richey, Marcie Morris, and Amber Brown; her great-grandchildren, Nevaeh, Malazii, Reign, Blaze, Johnnye, Autumn, Brianna, Diego, Joshua, and Fabian; extended family and a host of friends.
