Glenda L. (Heath) Shell-Cinder passed away December 2, 2024 at her home in Rochester, Michigan. Glenda was born August 30,1936 at home on McDougall Street in Detroit to parents Glen and Helen (Griffin) Heath. She had a dear older sister (and best friend) Anita and a younger brother Fred. Glenda married Robert L. Shell April 14,1956 at Immanuel Methodist Church in East Detroit where they first met as children when he was 12 and she was 13. In 1970 Glenda graduated as a registered nurse. Glenda would continue her education receiving a bachelor's degree in health education from University of Detroit Mercy. She would use her clinical experience and education to manage Infection Control for a local suburban hospital and then ultimately form her own Infection Control consulting company where she performed services state-wide. After being widowed nearly 10 years Glenda married Grantland Cinder where upon his retirement they spent summers in Harbor Springs, Michigan and winters in Naples, Florida.
Glenda is survived by her husband Grantland, her three sons; Bob, Jeff (Terese), and Jay (Kimberly) Shell, and 5 grandchildren; Ryan, Erica (Sarver), Taylor, Alexander, and Mitchell Shell.
