Glenda Sue Teltow, 78, of Deputy, Indiana passed away on Tuesday, December 5, 2023 at Norton Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky. She was born on September 2, 1945 in Little Rock, Arkansas, daughter of the late Nettie Beasley. On November 6, 1961 she married Lonnie Pat Teltow, who passed away January 1, 2022. She was a former employee of New Bethany Nursing home and Dos Palos Hospital over in California. She worked as a dietitian and cook for many years. She was a member of the Bethany Baptist Church in Deputy, Indiana. Glenda was a member of the Volunteer Fire Department in Deputy, Indiana. Her greatest joy in life was spending time with her grandchildren, friends, and family. In addition to her mother and husband, Pat, Glenda is preceded in death by her son Lonnie Teltow, seven siblings, Lucille Neal, Louise Gregory, Bernice Allen, Gay, Charlotte, Juanita, JC Freeman, Carl, and Loreen; two grandchildren, Cameron Wade Foley and Michelle Lynn Teltow; and two brother in laws, Jackie Franklin and Clifford Teltow. Survivors include son, Danny Ray (Jessica) Teltow of Dos Palos, California; two daughters, Shelly (Shawn) Collins of Deputy, Indiana and Laura (Tony) Castleman of Dos Palos, California; twin sister, Linda Lou Franklin of Firebaugh, California; sister, Wanda Hermosillo of California; sibblings in law, Jerry, Terry, Barbara, Glenda, and Emma; nine grandchildren, Danny Allen Teltow, Richard (Sarah) Rollins, Desiree (Michael) Bryant, Ashley Rollins, BreeAnne (Stephan) McClellan, Matt Tyler (Baileigh) Collins, Kimberly (Shane) Collier, Blake Teltow, and Nick Teltow; and many great grandchildren and brother in law Doedoe Teltow. Funeral Service 1:00 pm Saturday, December 9, 2023 at Collins Funeral Home in Scottsburg, Indiana with Pastor Michael Johnson officiating. Visitation 11:00 am to 1:00 pm Saturday at Collins Funeral Home. Interment at Bethany Baptist Cemetery in Deputy, Indiana.
