Glenda Faye Wade Clark, a shining beacon of love and faith, passed away peacefully on August 29, 2025, in Sellersburg, Indiana, surrounded by her devoted family. Born on March 4, 1947, in Jeffersonville, Indiana, Glenda's life was a testament to her enduring spirit and unwavering dedication to those she cherished most.
A proud graduate of Charlestown High School, Glenda embarked on a lifelong career as a Die Cut Operator for Wyandot, where she dedicated 40 years of her life with grit and passion. This steadfast commitment mirrored her approach to life, always putting her family first and nurturing their growth with every ounce of her being.
Glenda's vibrant personality shone through in everything she did. She was not only a loyal wife but also a loving mother, devoted grandmother, and caring sister. Honest, kind, and generous, Glenda possessed a heart that welcomed everyone. Her faith was her anchor, guiding her through life's challenges while inspiring those around her. She found joy in her time spent with the KYANA Car Club in Louisville, KY, and her fervent love for bible study at church reflected her deep connection to her beliefs. There was nothing Glenda cherished more than spending precious moments with her family, celebrating every milestone as they grew together.
The loss of Glenda is deeply felt by her living family, including her cherished daughter-in-law, Jennifer (Mike) Clark Daniel, and her grandchildren: Jonathan Clark and Timothy Clark. Glenda's memory will also continue through her sister, Carol Marie (Tommy) Almonrode, who share in the legacy of love and support she imparted throughout her life. They will forever carry with them the warmth of her laughter and the light of her unconditional love.
Glenda was preceded in death by her loving husband, Paul Albert Clark, and her son, William Albert Clark; along with her parents, Robert Preston Wade and Euretta Wade, and four siblings who all welcomed her into her eternal rest.
Glenda's pride and joy were embedded in watching her family flourish, and her spirit will remain alive in their hearts. As her family prepares to honor her life, visitation and funeral services will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home, Southern Indiana in New Albany on September 6, 2025. Visitation will begin at 11:00 AM, followed by a funeral service at 2:00 PM.
Though her physical presence is no longer with us, Glenda's love, strength, and faith will continue to inspire and guide her family for generations to come. She will be missed dearly, but her legacy of love will endure eternally.
