David Popp Obituary

David Lloyd Popp, born on September 13, 1942, passed away on October 19, 2025. David served on both the Local and National Water Associations. His contributions to these organizations showcased his dedication to improving water management practices and fostering an awareness of environmental stewardship. In his personal life, David found immense joy in gardening and traveling the globe with his wife, Mary, whom he was devoted to for 51 years. Together, they created a lifetime of memories that included beautiful gardens and countless journeys to new destinations.

David cherished every moment spent with his family. He was especially proud of his three children: Pam (Bill) Wilson, Dava Popp O'Brien, and Cindy Denham (William), each of whom he loved deeply. A true family man at heart, his greatest delight came from the time he spent with his 5 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.

David is survived by his devoted wife, Mary; his loving children; and his cherished grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, Suter Popp and Gladys Vest Popp; son-in-law, Shawn O'Brien; and brothers, Richard and Randy Popp.
