Glenn Tracy Barker

Glenn "Tracy" Barker, 60, of Richmond, passed away on Saturday, January 3, 2026, in Richmond, Kentucky.
Tracy was born on Wednesday, August 11, 1965, in Ashland, Kentucky, to the late Delmar and Mary Faye Barber Barker. He used his strong work ethic to build his career in the steel industry from the ground up, with many years serving as a sales manager, and was a longtime employee of Gerdau. He also had a deep love of family. Family time, especially cookouts and having everyone together, was important to Tracy and he made every effort to make sure he instilled the love of family to his children. He loved his role as little league coach during their childhoods, traveling throughout the country for baseball tournaments, and spending quality time on the golf course. His children and grandchildren were the joy of his life.
Survivors include sons: Shannon Barker (Jordan) and Gatlin Barker; daughter: Tylyn Barker Sheridan (Patrick); grandchildren: Jerzie, Ramsey, Jo Jo, Crew, Ruthie, and Andie; brothers: Delmar Barker, Jr., Donald Barker, and Keith Barker; sister: Marilyn Skeens; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Raymond Barker.
A Service to Celebrate the Life of Tracy Barker will be held at 3:00 PM Saturday, January 10, 2026, at the Combs, Parsons and Collins Funeral Home, 328 West Main Street, Richmond, KY. The family will receive friends from 1:00-3:00 PM at the funeral home.
