GLENN EDGAR CRISP

Glenn Edgar Crisp, age 92 years, of Mackinaw City, Michigan, passed away on February 19, 2026, with family at his side. He was born February 23, 1933, in Stalwart, Michigan, to Edgar and Caroline (Waybrant) Crisp.

After graduating from Pickford High School he married/eloped with Esther Eleanor Hillock on August 5, 1953 , to the Methodist Church in Sault Ste Marie, Michigan. He served in the United States Army from 1951-1955.

Glenn worked for A&P Grocery chain for several years before owning his own business Crispy's Market in Mackinaw City. Later adding a Shell Gas Station, a party store within Mackinaw Mill Creek Campground, then purchasing Victoria Mill Creek Motel, being Mackinaw Township Supervisor/Assessor and retiring as Mackinaw Township Supervisor.

During those years, he was active in supporting his children and grandchildren in sports; along with coaching Little League.

Glenn is survived by his wife, Eleanor; children, Laura (John) Stryker of Jenison, Michigan, and Terresa (John) Frisbie of Alma, Michigan; eight grandchildren; and thirteen great grandchildren.

Glenn was preceded in death by his son, Curtiss G Crisp; daughter Nikki L Crisp Wallin; grandson John G Stryker; great grandson Jackson P Wallin.
