Neptune, NJ – Glenn William Dilloian, a lifelong resident of Neptune Township, passed away peacefully on June 20, 2025, after a long and courageous battle with cancer. He was 65 years old.
Born on October 13, 1959, Glenn was a man of quiet strength and unwavering kindness, cherished by his family and friends. He was a graduate of Neptune High School Class of 1978. He followed in a proud family tradition as a skilled woodworker and cabinet maker. Glenn began his career working alongside his father, Harry Dilloian, at Dilloian Store Fixtures Company Inc. in Allenhurst, NJ. For over 25 years, he then dedicated his talents to PL Custom Emergency Vehicles in Manasquan, NJ, where he crafted and installed cabinets in ambulances and other emergency service vehicles.
Glenn was an avid sports enthusiast, with a particular passion for baseball, where he was known as a great player in his younger years. A true die-hard Mets, Jets, and Knicks fan, he enjoyed following baseball, football, and basketball throughout his life. At family parties, you could always find Glenn shooting hoops or throwing a ball with the kids. Glenn was the most genuine and giving person you could meet. He was always ready to help and lend a hand especially with home projects. Glenn was a gentle soul and all the family pets sensed the goodness in him as if they knew he was someone they could trust. Glenn could often be found on his front porch, surrounded by the neighborhood cats. Glenn also had a fondness for the simple pleasures in life, like his daily Dunkin' Donuts coffee and coconut donut, grabbing a bite to eat at the local town diners, or riding his motorcycle.
Glenn was predeceased by his beloved father, Harry Dilloian, in 1999. He is survived by his loving mother, Joan Dilloian; his two brothers, Douglas Dilloian and his wife Dawn, and Bruce Dilloian and his wife Susan. He is survived by four cherished nephews, Douglas Dilloian Jr. and his wife Jessica, Patrick Dilloian, Matthew Dilloian, and Andrew Dilloian. Glenn was a great-uncle to Lucas, Kensley, and Carter. His kind spirit, gentle nature, and warm heart will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
A viewing will be held at Ely Funeral Home, Neptune, NJ on Tuesday, June 24, from 4pm to 8pm. A private interment will follow the next day at Monmouth Memorial Park in Tinton Falls.
