Glenn Raymond Dysarz
Died September 1, 2024
NORTHPORT – Glenn Raymond Dysarz, 63, of Northport, formerly of Houston, passed away on September 1, 2024, at his home. Glenn was born on December 29, 1960, in Detroit, MI, to Charles and Lois (Palmer) Dysarz.
On April 20, 2002, in Bayfield, Ontario, he married Suzette Colton, who survives him. Glenn graduated from Edsel Ford High School in Dearborn, MI, and shortly after, he moved to California, where he began his career as a mechanic and then transitioned to designer/engineer in the automotive industry.
In the 1990s, Glenn returned to Dearborn, where he met his beloved wife, Suzette. They later moved to Houston in 2007. Glenn was known for his big heart, particularly his love for dogs. He had a habit of rescuing strays and bringing them home with the intent to rehome them and ended up loving and keeping all of them.
An avid collector, Glenn had an impressive array of antique electronics, comic books, guns, knives, Matchbox cars, and Hot Wheels. While at his home in Northport, his collecting habits expanded to include unique and interesting rocks, mostly gathered from Omena Beach, which he proudly displayed throughout his home and garage.
Fondly nicknamed "Spark Plug" due to his energetic nature, Glenn was always on the move, bringing light and warmth to those around him.
Glenn is survived by his loving wife of 22 years, Suzette; his father, Charles Dysarz; his siblings, Blane Dysarz, Lesley (George) Williams, and Laurie (William) Swanson; his sister-in-law, Tawnya Dysarz and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Lois, and his brother, Gary Dysarz.
Cremation has taken place and private family services have been held.
Memorial contributions in Glenn's name may be directed to The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research, Grand Central Station, P.O. Box 4777, New York, NY 10163, and/or the Detroit Dog Rescue, P.O. Box 806119, St. Clair Shores, MI 48080.

My dear, sweet brother, gone so soon....We were so blessed to have you in our family.

We will never forget your kind heart, not only towards people, but animals as well.

We will always remember your summer visits to the cottage with Elijah, searching for rocks, and shooting the guns and cannons at Fort Mackinac... What fun!

Thank you for always remembering my birthday (and everyone else's). I have many sweet gifts and rocks that I will cherish.

May the Lord hold you in his arms until we meet again...XOXO

You were a great brother, and great guy, Glenn. Losing you is definately a shock. I will miss you, until I see you on the other side XOXO

My brother Glenn was a kind person. He was a good friend to many, and always making charitable donations, fixing and giving away great bikes, and always finding a cool toy for nieces and nephews. He loved animals, especially dogs, and he and his wife rescued and raised quite a few sweet dogs!
Glenn was so creative in many ways, had a quick wit, and great sense of humor. He could make anyone laugh!
He has had a few good friends and family members precede him in death, and tho the loss of Glenn is a shock, and heartbreaking, I do believe he is reunited with them on the other side. We will all miss you, Glenn
