Glenn Roscoe, known as "Roscoe," was born February 3, 1961, in Norfolk, VA to the late James Freeman Roscoe and Eva Mae McClease. Roscoe graduated from Booker T. Washington High School in 1979 where he was an avid football and basketball player. Roscoe is preceded in death by his only sister, Valorie Roscoe, two brothers, Maxwell Simpson and Linwood Freeman, Jr. After high school Roscoe joined the United States Army and then went on to pursue college and a career in management with Foot Locker.
During his time in Fort Mitchell, AL he was a devoted member and manager at the American Legion Post 267 and while working with the Sons of the American Legion he served as Commander, Oratorical and Boys State Chairperson. He also served as the Junior Warden in the Electric City Masonic Lodge #322.
Roscoe was also a dedicated Dallas Cowboys fan who did not hesitate to represent them. He was often seen wearing his Dallas Cowboy apparel. "How bout dem boys!"
He leaves to cherish his memory one brother Edward D. Roscoe and 4 children Glenn Pointer, Sheneqwa Stallworth, Ashley Edwards (stepson), and Kayla Roscoe.
