Glenn Smith Obituary
Glenn A. Smith, 69, passed away peacefully at his home in New Berlin on January 19, 2026.
Glenn was born on June 26, 1956, in Norwich, New York, the son of Lawrence and Beverly (Wright) Smith. He was a lifelong resident of the area and had lived in New Berlin for the past 45 years.
On June 5, 1982, Glenn married the love of his life, Cindy Tooley, in Preston, New York. Together they built a life rooted in family, hard work, and community.
Glenn was employed at Hartwick College, where he worked in grounds crew and maintenance beginning in 1985. He took pride in his work and was known for his dedication and reliability.
He is survived by his wife, Cindy Smith; his children, Raymond (Vanessa) Smith and Tina (David) Murray; his son-in-law, Jesse Brazee; and his grandchildren, Ashley (Josh) Smith, Desirea Brazee, Jessie (Trevor) Brazee, Damek Smith, Jykiah Hunter, Keyan Hunter, Tyler Mackett, Garrett Murray, and Brendon Murray. He is also survived by many great-grandchildren.
Glenn was predeceased by his daughter, Stacie Brazee.
His family will celebrate his life privately at their convenience.
