HARTLAND-Glenn R. Snyder, 91, went home to be with the Lord on September 3, 2024, in Skowhegan.
He was born on May 29, 1933, in Worcester, PA, the son of Charles and Anna (McDowell) Snyder. He graduated from Lansdale High School with the class of 1951 and was employed at Didden's Greenhouses as a grower for 50 years.
Glenn loved life. He was a great chess player and enjoyed gardening and growing flowers. He faithfully visited shut-ins and his older friends.
He is survived by his wife, Danae Snyder; two daughters, Jennifer Chadwick and Stephanie Edwards; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and special friends, Tim Smith and Sandy Brown.
He was predeceased by two sons, Jeremy and Brendan; and brother, Duane.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, October 12, 2024, at the Hartland Baptist Church, Elm St, Hartland, Maine,
Memorial contributions may be made to the Hartland Baptist or to the Lighthouse Church in Searsport.
