Glenn was born on July 31, 1949 in Brookfield, MO, the son of Glenn A. and Ida May (Redkey) Wombwell. He was united in marriage to Catherine Louise Barker on October 6, 1972 in Kirksville, MO. She survives of the home.
He is also survived by his two daughters, Anna Eli and her husband Christopher of Oahu, HI, and Nora Wombwell and her husband Ryan Hladky of St. Joseph, MO; three grandsons, Glenn, Rodger, and Joseph Eli; and one brother, Roger Wombwell and his wife Pat of Clinton, MO.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Glenn was a graduate of Brookfield High School. He loved spending time outside, watching wildlife, and reading. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family.
A private family memorial will be held at a later date in Rose Hill Cemetery in Brookfield, MO.
