Neva Louise was born on March 7, 1928, to Vahl Albert and Oweda Mae (Harvey) Clawson in Laclede, MO. She was united in marriage to Robert Eugene Wombwell on June 1, 1951 in Brookfield, MO. He preceded her in death on November 11, 2021. Neva was a member of the Park Baptist Church and was very active in the church.
Neva is survived by her three children, Todd Eugene Wombwell, Clay Robert (Lisa Marie) Wombwell and Karen Renee (Bob) Burkholder; grandchildren, Brandon Wombwell, Heather Zaragoza, Allison Wombwell, Blake Burkholder, Derek Burkholder, Brooke Woody, and Ryan Woody; four brothers, Ronnie (Julie) Clawson, Jerry Clawson, Bobby (Pat) Clawson, and Dickie (Trudy) Clawson; and several nieces, nephews, and relatives.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, four brothers, Ira Lee Clawson, Mervel Clawson, Billie Harvey Clawson, and Roy Harvey Clawson, six sisters, Luzenia Mae Arthaud, Arlene June Clawson, Myrtle Clawson, Hazle Marie Doss, Judith Kay Tate, and Doris Ann Borren.
Funeral Services will be held at the Park Baptist Church, Brookfield, MO. Wednesday, July 3, 2024, at 2:00 pm. with Pastor David Blakely officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery, Brookfield, MO. Visitation will be held at the Park Baptist Church, Brookfield, MO. Wednesday, July 3, 2024, at 1:00 pm. one hour prior to service at 2:00 pm.
Memorial donations are suggested to Park Baptist Church and can be left at or mailed to Rhodes Funeral Home, 216 Linn Street, Brookfield, MO. 64628. Online condolences can be made at www.rhodesfh.com
Arrangements are under the direction of Rhodes Funeral Home, Brookfield, MO.
