Mrs. Glenna Stivers Beckham (Thornton) 83 of Lexington, KY, passed away peacefully at home Saturday February 15th 2025. Glenna was born in Monterey, KY to the late Leonard and Oma (Dearinger) Thornton. She was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years Chester T Beckham, son Barry (Debbie) Beckham and sister Dorthy Perkins. She was a retired school bus driver for Fayette County schools for 30 plus years. She loved all animals and is fondly remembered with her dog Buddy aways at her side, especially during winters spent in Intercession City, Florida.
She is survived by sister Alice Perkins of Owenton, KY, son Rodney Beckham, daughter Deborah (Tom) Zyskowski, granddaughters Joanna (Ben) Campbell, Della Claunch (Matt Champy) who both lovingly cared for her. Kaitlin Beckham. 5 Great grandchildren Peyton and Natalee Campbell, Andreana Caudill, Aaron Wayne Jr. Davis and Scarlet Reign Davis. There will be a private ceremony for the immediate family. The family kindly requests that no flowers be sent.

Sorry I just learned of her passing, as I remember being friends with her sons Barry, Rodney she was tough, and you knew who was boss, she was very kind to me, rip Mrs. Beckham
