Glenna Jane Reschke, age 78, of Amity, Arkansas, passed away at Baptist Health Center in Arkadelphia on Tuesday, October 7, 2025.

The daughter of Ray and Beatrice Tomlin Dowell was born October 22, 1946, in Bethesda, Arkansas.

Glenna was a former resident of Boone and Newton County Arkansas for 7 years. She had lived in Amity most of her life, where she had attended Amity Second Baptist Church.

Glenna had been a cook at Glenwood Nursing Home and Amity Public School for many years. She loved quilting, crafting and baking. She loved her family and spoiled her grandkids. She will always be their "Circle Granny". She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother and will be missed by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 45 years, Mike Reschke; and three brothers, Hugh, Tad, and Tommy Dowell.

Glenna is survived by her son, Michael Eugene Reschke II and wife Echo; her daughter, Kristal Gale Reschke; two grandchildren, Victoria Rae Reschke and Michael Eugene Reschke III; two step grandchildren, Harley Turner and Dixie Turner; two brothers, Harry Dowell and Gary "Bub" Dowell and wife Eva; brothers and sisters-in-law, Paula Dowell, Frank and Nina Reschke, Mary Reschke and Ida Cook; lifelong best friends, Phyllis and Donnie Cogburn and their daughters, Misty and Ashley; and a host of nieces, nephews, and extended relatives.

Graveside service will be held at Maple Leaf Cemetery on Monday, October 13, 2025 at 2 PM with Pastor Bud Grimes officiating.

There is no visitation.

Arrangements and burial under the direction of Coffman Funeral Home of Harrison.
