Gloria J. Benoit

Gloria J. Benoit, of Manchester, NH, passed away peacefully on August 6, 2025, at her home in Florida, after a courageous battle with cancer.

Born in Nashua, NH, on August 9, 1954, she was the daughter of the late Cecile (Cote) Bellavance and Leon Bellavance. Gloria dedicated more than 30 years of her career as a Bank Manager with TD Bank, where she was known for her professionalism, warmth and care for both colleagues and customers.

Gloria’s greatest joy in life was her family, especially her grandchildren, who were the light of her world. She cherished every moment spent with them, finding endless happiness in their laughter and love. She also found peace at the beach, where she delighted in the sun, the sand, and the serenity of the ocean.

She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Bruce Benoit, and her son, Shawn C. Benoit. She leaves behind her son, Jason M. Benoit, and his wife, Lauren E. Benoit, as well as her four adored grandchildren: Emily T. Benoit, Kaitlyn I. Benoit, Hunter M. Benoit, and Brooklyn E. Benoit.

Gloria is also survived by her sister, Elena Pannell, and her husband, Roger Pannell; her niece, Tara Pannell, and great-nephew, Benjamin Haddad; and her sisters-in-law, Deborah Donahue of Florida, Cindy Anderson of Derry, and Cathy Corcoran of Auburn.

Those who knew Gloria will forever remember her kind, caring, and selfless nature. Her warmth, humor, and genuine spirit left an indelible mark on every life she touched.

SERVICES: A memorial gathering for Gloria and her son, Shawn will be held on Monday, September 22, 2025, from 10 AM – 12 Noon at Phaneuf Funeral Homes & Crematorium, 243 Hanover Street, in Manchester, NH. Committal prayers and interment will follow at Pine Grove Cemetery, in Manchester, NH.

Her legacy is a reminder to us all: don’t wait to call the ones you love, to stop by and visit, to share a hug, and to say how much you care. Time is a thief—so spread peace and love into this beautiful world.
