On April 13, 1952 Gloria married her husband Joseph L. Douillard at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in White Plains, NY.
Gloria belonged to the Harrison senior center. She enjoyed sewing, and loved baking specialty cakes for weddings, showers and special occasions.
She loved to get together for family gatherings with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She will be remembered for her beautiful loving heart along with her kind and generous soul. She will be forever missed.
Gloria is survived by five children: Kathy Safuto of West Harrison, Michael Douillard of Danbury, CT, Doreen (Santo) Macri of Harrison, NY, Roxanne Pagniello of Danbury, CT and LoriJean Douillard of Danbury, CT. Also surviving is her brother, Anthony (Clara) Verano, 9 grandchildren: Lisa (Nick) Maselli, Michael A. Douillard, Christopher (Kerey) Safuto, Danielle (Noel) Morales, Nicole (Damon) Fredricks, William "B.J" Macri, Robert (Jackie) Pagniello, Jr., Anthony L. Giorno, and Joseph Pagniello, and 7 great grandchildren: Santo, Michaela, Stella, Caleb, Madison, Zachary, and Hailey.
Besides her parents, Gloria is predeceased by her husband Joseph, and her daughter Janet Giorno.
