A visitation will be held on Monday October 16, 2023, from 4:00 to 8:00 PM with a rosary starting at 6:00 PM at Dellcrest Funeral Home 2023 W.W. White Road, San Antonio, TX. A funeral mass will be held on Tuesday October 17, 2023, at 10:00 AM at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, 2829 Ackerman Road, San Antonio, TX. Interment will follow at Guadalupe De Panteon Cemetery, Converse, TX.
Gloria was born in Bexar County, TX. on July 13, 1937, to Poreferio and Dolores L. Torres. She was a steward of God. Gloria was a member of Young at Heart, she cooked for 13 years for the church and participated in the choir and council of women. Gloria also served as treasurer and worked faithfully in the church fiesta. She also participated in adoration in the chapel, rosary and received 2 certificates from the archdiocese.
Gloria was preceded in death by her parents; sisters and a baby brother.
Gloria is survived by her brothers, Manuel Torres (Martha), Pedro Torres (Shirley), Poreferio Torres Jr (Brenda); 23 nieces and nephews; 46 great nieces and nephews; numerous great-great nieces and nephews.
