MACIEJEWSKI (Gloria)
It is with sad hearts we announce the passing of our dearly loved Gloria (nee Buonanno) Maciejewski, age 94, of Springfield, Pa., on April 1, 2024. She passed peacefully surrounded by her children. Born on May 28, 1929, to Henry and Lillian. Gloria is predeceased by her husband Charles A. Maciejewski and her sister, Carol Leonard (Timothy).
Gloria is survived by her children, Stephen C. Maciejewski (Donna), Joan M. Tansey (Gregg Tansey) and her four grandchildren, Laura, Sarah, Stephen and Jessica and her great-grandson Liam.
Once retired, Gloria loved attending Senior Citizens and socializing with her friends. Family was most important to her. Spending time with her family, was most special but she truly relished her role as a grandmother and most recently a great-grandmother. We will miss her lively spirit at every event and yes, even playing countless hours of 500 rummy. Gloria enjoyed the simple things in life. Good conversation, attending Saturday mass, the Holiday's, family dinners, playing the lottery, the Phillies..the simple things. Her kindness and love of her family will be remembered and cherished. Rest in peace G.G. you will always have a place at the table.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Viewing Thursday evening, April 4th from 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM and on Friday morning, April 5th 9:00 AM – 10:15 AM at the Danjolell Memorial Home of Broomall, 2811 West Chester Pike, Broomall, PA 19008. The Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, April 5th 11:00 AM at St. Kevin Parish 200 W. Sproul Rd., Springfield, PA 19064. Interment Saints Peter and Paul Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in Gloria's memory to St. Jude's Hospital for Children.
