Mrs. Gloria Jean Rudd Page, age 76, of Burlington, passed away on Saturday, August 19, 2023 at Alamance Regional Medical Center.
A native of Alamance County, she was the daughter of the late Raleigh Walter Rudd and the late Elsie Aldridge Rudd and was married for over 33 years to the late John Wesley Page, Sr., who passed in 1998. She was retired from Amwins Transportation and was a member of Bush Arbor Primitive Baptist Church. Gloria enjoyed fishing, yardwork and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and her loving dog of 17 years, “Elvis”.
Mrs. Page is survived by her four children, Wesley Alan Page (Stephanie), Paula Morton (David), John Darren Page (Cindy) and John Wesley Page, Jr. (Crystal); seven grandchildren, Kelly Bennett (Jason), Victoria Page Davis (Bryan), Heather Morton Hill (Logan), John Michael Morton, Wesley Alan Page, Jr., Hailey Page and Hayden Page; and four great grandchildren, Alexis Bennett, Olivia Bennett, Colton Bennett and Sadie Ann Davis. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents and a sister, Wilma Alane Pope.
The funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, August 23, 2023 at Westside Fellowship by Rev. Jacob Danieley and Rev. Mike Mitchener. Interment will follow at Bush Arbor Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:30 – 1:45 PM Wednesday prior to the service at the church and other times at her residence.
