Surrounded by loved ones, Gloria Still peacefully passed away on October 13, 2025, in Lindstrom, Minnesota.
Gloria was born on July 25, 1932, to Peter and Veronica Reuter in Cannon Falls Minnesota. The youngest of six children, Gloria grew up on their family farm on the banks of the Cannon River. Gloria graduated from Cannon Falls High School and began her employment at St. Paul Fire and Marine in St. Paul Minnesota, where she met St. Paul local, Glenn Still. Gloria and Glenn were married on September 10, 1955, in St. Paul, Minnesota.
Glenn and Gloria lived on Lake Owasso in Roseville, Minnesota with their four boys until moving into the house Glenn built in North Branch, Minnesota, in 1972. After her husband's death in 1993, Gloria continued living in their North Branch until 2000, when she moved into the Church Road Townhouses and made many new friends. Gloria was an avid gardener and crafter. As an avid reader she read forty to fifty books a year and loved watching cardinals in the yard. Gloria was a lifelong member of St. Gregory Church in North Branch Minnesota where she volunteered at the Advent Station, with funeral services and knitted many prayer shawls for those in need of one.
Surrounded by loved ones, Gloria peacefully passed away on October 13, 2025, in Lindstrom, Minnesota. Preceded in death by husband Glenn Still; sons Mark and James Still; brothers and sisters-in-laws Steve and LaVina Reuter, Leonard and Gen Reuter, Fran and Shirley Reuter; sister and brother-in-law Lola and Mike Dodge; brother-in-law Dave McDonald. Gloria is survived by sons Robert (Joanne) Still, Michael (DeeDee) Still; sister Lugarda McDonald; daughter-in-law Michelle Still; nine grandchildren and eight great grandchildren and one great- great grandchild.
The family wishes to extend their deepest gratitude to Charles and Brandy Kreitz and Carla Waletzko for their devoted care and companionship to Gloria. Gloria enjoyed playing cribbage, sharing her stories, praying the rosary and having the bible read to her by Charles and Brandy. Their care brought Gloria comfort in her last months.
The family extends a special thank you to Eva (St. Croix Hospice) and the staff at Lindstrom Senior Living for providing comfort and dignity to Gloria during her time there.
Memorials are preferred to North Branch Senior Center.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 23, 2025 at St Gregory the Great Church in North Branch. Visitation will take place one hour prior to the service at church on Thursday. Luncheon to follow service.
