After eighty one years of love and devotion, Gloria Vegas Vetter went to live an eternal life with the Lord. On July 16, 1970, she became a follower of the Lord Jesus Christ. She kept the faith and she finished her course on April 8, 2013. She was a joyful child to the late Clara Dobard Vegas and John Vegas; a beloved wife, for fifty eight years, to Robert Vetter; and a caring mother to Brian Vetter, Gary Vetter, Lisa Hecht, Karen Boudreaux and Michelle Vetter. She is also survived by her twelve grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation to be held at ST. BERNARD MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 701 W. Virtue St., Chalmette, LA on Saturday, April 13, 2013 from 10:00 AM â€“ 12:00 PM. A funeral service will begin at 12:00 PM. Interment will follow in St. Bernard Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers please consider donations to Hospice Foundation â€“ The South, 507 Robert Blvd., Slidell, LA 70458 in memory of Gloria Vegas Vetter.

12 years now in your Heavenly home with Jesus and dad . Your so missed . There's so many conversations , understanding and love between us that's now forever a memory .
