Glynn Lee Dodson

It is with deeply heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Glynn Lee Dodson, 96, of Rockwall, Texas. Glynn was born in Josephine, Texas, on November 8, 1928, and departed this world from his Rockwall residence, on July 15, 2025, surrounded by the love of his family. Glynn will be forever missed by all those who had the privilege of knowing and loving him.

A celebration of life memorial service to honor Glynn will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, August 1, 2025, at the First Baptist Church of Rockwall, located at, 610 S Goliad St, Rockwall, TX 75087, with Dr. Russell Rogers officiating. The U.S. Army Honor Guard will be in attendance to render Military Honors in remembrance of Glynn and his service to our country. Additionally, the family will receive guests for a time of visitation at the church the same day, from 12:30 PM - 2:00 PM, prior to the service beginning.

Independent florists are kindly asked to deliver arrangements directly to Rest Haven Funeral Home in Rockwall, by 8:30 AM on Friday, August 1, 2025, in order for them to be taken to the church in advance and properly displayed for Glynn's celebration of life in a timely manner.
