GLYNN FLATT
Bethel Springs: Billy Glynn Flatt age 69, passed away February 10, 2025, at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.
He was born March 8, 1955, in McNairy County, the son of the late Leonard Andrew and Lois Presley Flatt.
He was a Baptist in belief.
He enjoyed getting together with his family and doing cookouts especially enjoyed his grandchildren, he loved music and had enjoyed fishing.
Glynn is survived by a son, Jeremy Flatt (Christy) and two daughters, Kimberly Cole (Roy), and Bridget Gately (Seth) all of Henderson; four brothers, James Flatt (Debbie) of Jackson, Roy Flatt (Diane) of Bethel Springs, Lee Flatt of Bethel Springs and Johnnie Flatt (Cheryl) of Henderson; three sisters, Lillian Hatch of Bethel Springs, Dee Vandiver (Larry) of Bolivar and Sue Rowland of Bethel Springs; seven grandchildren, Brittany Gately, Bailey Gately, Alyssa Compton, Rilee Gately, Cameron Flatt, Kayla Flatt and Camden Haskins and one great grandchild, Braxton Flatt. His girlfriend, Lisa Swift of Scotts Hill.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a son, Jason Flatt; two brothers, Thomas Flatt and Robert Flatt and two sisters, Betty Johnson and Maudie Britt.
A memorial service will be 3:00 PM Friday February 14th at Shackelford Funeral Directors – Crook Avenue with Eugene Davis officiating.
The family will receive friends at Crook Avenue 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM service time on Friday.
