Goldie Lynn Merica, of Hedgesville, passed away peacefully on November 3, 2025.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Louis Edgar Merica, mother Janet Kegarise, brother Calvin Younker, nephew Ezekiel, and grandchildren Ella Rose and Autumn Marie.
Goldie was the matriarch of her family, known for her strength, warmth, and unwavering love. A devoted Washington Redskins fan, she brought joy, laughter, and loyalty to everyone who knew her.
She is survived by her children Zachary, Joshua, Amanda, and Megan; daughter-in-law Vanessa; brother Travis; and grandchildren Allysa, Arien, Lily, Willow, Brittany, Jaxon, and Amelia.
A service will be held Tuesday, November 11, 2025, at Hancock Assembly of God from 12:00 p.m. with visitation one hour prior, followed by a burial at Needmore Bible Church.
Her love and strength will forever remain in the hearts of her family.
