Goldie Faye Shipman

Goldie Faye Shipman of Lexington, KY passed away peacefully on November 3rd, 2025, at her residence. She was born on May 4th, 1955, in Harlan County to her parents, Cindy Defevers and Fred Defevers. Most of her life she was a stay-at-home mom. Goldie had been a life-long resident of Lexington. She loved spending time with her family and friends. She is survived by her 4 children, Christy Delarosa, Melissa Perez, Jody Shipman, and Jimmy Shipman; her brothers, Bobby and Larry Defevers; grandchildren, Jody Shipman, Coty Shipman, Yurlana Delarosa, Destiny Delarosa, Tico Shipman, Marla Shipman, Ricardo Delarosa, Ana Delarosa, Brandon Shipman, Brianna Perez, Alexander Perez, Arturo Perez, and Khloe Perez; and son and daughters-in-law, Francisco Delarosa, Vickie Shipman, and Pamela Howard. Other than her parents, she is preceded by her sister, Lois Shipman.
