Gordon Theodore "Ted" Brockman Jr, age 57, passed away on April 30, 2025, in Menasha, Wisconsin. He passed peacefully at home surrounded by loved ones. Born on March 4, 1968, in Neenah, Wisconsin, Ted lived a life rooted in hard work, laughter, and deep devotion to those around him.
Ted dedicated over three decades of his career to Fox Valley Asphalt and most recently worked at Sonoco. Known for his strong work ethic and reliability, Ted was respected by colleagues and friends alike.
Ted is survived by his life partner and best friend of 20 years, Paula Pagano; children: Michael (Brockman) LaMotte (Dorothy), Anthony Readdy (Taylor), Crystal Pagano, and Yalene Gonzalez; grandchildren: Veya, Sydney, Taelynn, Tatum, and Zamora. Ted also leaves behind siblings Debbie, Jeff (Laura), Karla (Cloud), Greg, Bill, and Kim; as well as a very special sister-in-law whom he always considered a sister, Lynda Floyd Sasse. Numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews also mourn his passing.
He was preceded in death by his parents Gordon Sr. and Judy Brockman; grandparents; and sister Jill Immekus.
Outside of work and family life, Ted found joy in the outdoors. Ted loved fishing, camping, and gathering around bonfires with friends and neighbors. His sense of humor was ever-present-quick with a joke or a playful prank-bringing smiles to those fortunate enough to share time with him.
A graveside service will be held on May 9, 2025, from 12:00 PM at Town of Clayton Cemetery, 7890 County Rd T, Larsen, Wisconsin. A celebration of life will follow on May 17, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at City Limits located at 544 4th St., Menasha, Wisconsin. Food and beverages will be provided as friends and family gather to honor Ted's memory.
