Gordon Wayne Levick, a cherished lifelong resident of Millville, NJ, went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Saturday, December 28th, 2024. Known affectionately as Wayne, he was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, whose warmth and kindness touched the lives of many.
Wayne is survived by his devoted wife, Shirley Levick, and their five children: Steven Levick and his wife Susan, Debra Levick, Suzanne Drake, Clara Riley and her husband Mark, and Jane Robbins and her husband Mickey. He was a proud grandfather to 15 grandchildren and a great-grandfather to 22 great-grandchildren, all of whom brought immense joy to his life.
Born to the late Leslie and Verna Levick, Wayne was a man of many talents and passions. He was the owner and operator of Gordon's Glass in Millville, NJ. Wayne also spent many years as a barber in Millville, where he formed lasting friendships with his clients.
Wayne proudly served his country in the Navy, a testament to his dedication and love for his nation. Outside of his professional and military life, he was an avid bowler, participating in numerous leagues throughout the years. His love for music was evident in his enjoyment of singing in barbershop quartets.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate Wayne's life at a viewing on Thursday, January 2nd, 2025, from 9:00 am to 11:00 am at Christy Funeral Home, 11 West Broad St., Millville, NJ. A funeral service will follow at 11:00 am, where loved ones will gather to honor and remember the remarkable life he led. Interment will follow at Greenwood Memorial Park, Millville, NJ. Memories of Wayne and condolences for his family may be shared on his tribute wall, where his spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of those he touched.
