Gordon Panter Obituary

A native of Shively, KY, he was retired from American Synthetic and a member of Beechland Baptist Church.
Gordon was an avid sports fan. A life-long athlete, he was a member of two Senior Softball World Series championship teams. He loved his UofL sport teams, the football team and especially the UofL women's basketball team.
Gordon is preceded in death by his son, Gordon Panter, Jr., and granddaughter, Lindsay Panter.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Pam (Cook) Panter; daughters, Novanna Nally (Jon), and Angie Decker (Jeff); sister, Annie Ridenour (Marvin); 4 grandsons; 2 great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Kim Panter, and his beloved kitty, Tiger.
His funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 19, 2022, at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway with burial at Resthaven Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 3:00 – 8:00 p.m. Friday at Owen Funeral Home.
Expressions of sympathy may be made to Hosparus of Louisville or the Kentucky Humane Society.

You wouldn´t believe the impact the time with you and Aunt Pam meant to me. I want to go back to bumper pool
with a mini slugger, or a good pool day. You were a rock when I needed one. I will always cherish you.
