Gordon "Gordy" Alvin Willis passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, on January 4, 2026, at the age of 87. He was preceded in death by his son Michael Willis, brother Russell Willis, parents Maurice and Ruth (Priebe) Willis, and stepson Jay Anthony.
Gordy was a loving husband, father, brother, grandfather, great-grandfather, uncle, and friend. He is survived by his wife Carol, daughter Cheryl (Mike) Spaude, son Steve Willis, and brother Kenneth (Elaine) Willis. Further survived by grandchildren Alyssa (Steve) Behrendt, Christopher (Ashley) Spaude, Michelle (Michael) Dodge, Kellie Willis, six great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Also survived by stepson Scott Anthony, stepdaughter Josee M., and step grandchildren Elise and Tyler.
Gordon graduated from UW Milwaukee with a Master's degree in Business Administration. After graduation, he started working at Wisconsin Electric Company, and worked there his entire career until he retired as Treasurer in 1999. He raised his family in Menomonee Falls and also spent a lot of time at the family cottage on Washington Lake in Shawano, fishing, hunting, and enjoying time with family.
He led a very active outdoor lifestyle including swimming, golfing, and playing tennis for many years. After retiring, he and Carol escaped from harsh Wisconsin winters to their
Sarasota, FL condo where he was able to continue his favorite activities and had a fun filled social calendar.

Please join us for a celebration of life on January 19th at CHURCH AND CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME, 1875 N. Calhoun Road, Brookfield. Memorial Visitation from 10:00am – 12:00pm with a Memorial Service at 12:00pm. A gathering to celebrate Gordon's life will follow immediately after the Service, with the location announced at that time. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the
