Gordon "Gordy" Alvin Willis passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, on January 4, 2026, at the age of 87. He was preceded in death by his son Michael Willis, brother Russell Willis, parents Maurice and Ruth (Priebe) Willis, and stepson Jay Anthony.

Gordy was a loving husband, father, brother, grandfather, great-grandfather, uncle, and friend. He is survived by his wife Carol, daughter Cheryl (Mike) Spaude, son Steve Willis, and brother Kenneth (Elaine) Willis. Further survived by grandchildren Alyssa (Steve) Behrendt, Christopher (Ashley) Spaude, Michelle (Michael) Dodge, Kellie Willis, six great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Also survived by stepson Scott Anthony, stepdaughter Josee M., and step grandchildren Elise and Tyler.

Gordon graduated from UW Milwaukee with a Master's degree in Business Administration. After graduation, he started working at Wisconsin Electric Company, and worked there his entire career until he retired as Treasurer in 1999. He raised his family in Menomonee Falls and also spent a lot of time at the family cottage on Washington Lake in Shawano, fishing, hunting, and enjoying time with family.

He led a very active outdoor lifestyle including swimming, golfing, and playing tennis for many years. After retiring, he and Carol escaped from harsh Wisconsin winters to their Sarasota, FL condo where he was able to continue his favorite activities and had a fun filled social calendar.

Thank you to Froedtert Menomonee Falls Hospital for their compassionate care for Gordon and his family during his short stay there.
