Grace M. (Duquette) Gadue, 90, of Sterling, passed away peacefully, Friday, May 24, 2024, in Davis Place. She was the loving wife of the late Edward Gadue, Sr. Born in Putnam, CT, she was the daughter of the late Francis and Bella (Lacroix) Duquette.
Mrs. Gadue worked in healthcare for many years. She was interested in handicrafts, such as sewing and knitting. Grace also adored animals of all kinds.
Grace is survived by sons, Joseph (Anne) Gadue, Edward (Gayle) Gadue, Jr., Michael (Cathy) Gadue, and Mark Gadue; brother, Francis (Julia) Duquette, Jr.; sister, Cecile (Joseph) Stoddard; many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Grace was predeceased by her sister, Bernadette Boller.
Relatives and friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial, Friday, May 31, 2024, at 12:00 noon, in St John the Apostle Church, 10 Railroad Ave, Plainfield CT. Burial to follow in St. Mary Cemetery, 355 Providence St, Putnam, CT. For memorial guestbook visit www.DoughertyBrosFuneralHome.com.
