Grace M. Gray

Grace (Ammendolia) Gray died peacefully in her sleep on August 22nd after a battle with lung cancer. She had family at her side. Grace was the daughter of Dominic Ammendolia and Mafalda Guisti. Grace grew up in Concord Massachusetts and spent her childhood on the family farm, Pinetree Farm in Concord. She married Robert Gray in 1958 and moved to Arlington, then Lexington before settling in Acton for over 60 years.

Grace worked many years and retired from the Concord Municipal Light Plant. She enjoyed her time there. Grace enjoyed spending many of her summers in Old Orchard Beach Maine camping, and going to the beach. She made many friends while camping from all over New England. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, taking them shopping, going to the playground, or the auction.

Grace is predeceased by her husband Robert Gray, son-in-law John Adams Jr., a brother Dominic Jr. (Mendy) Ammendolia, and a granddaughter Lindsey Gray. Grace is survived by her daughter Amy Adams and her partner Brian Lewis of Charlton, Ma. Her son Robert Gray and his wife Elizabeth of Sterling, Ma. Her granddaughter Samantha Gray and her partner Brian McHale of Castlebar, Ireland. Grandsons Andrew Adams of Charlton, Ma., Miles Gray and his wife Kayla of Newport TN. , Garreth Gray of Sterling and a great-grandson Cillian McHale of Castlebar. She also leaves a brother Anthony Ammendolia and his wife Anne of Acton, Ma. She leaves several nephews and nieces along with many cousins.

The family would like to thank the Overlook Hospice team from Charlton for all their assistance during Graces's final months.

A visitation will be held in the Acton Funeral Home, 470 Massachusetts Avenue (RT 111) on Thursday, August 28, 2025 from 4-6 PM. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home on Friday morning, August 29, 2025 at 11 AM. Burial to follow in Woodlawn Cemetery, Concord Road, Acton.
