Grace Marie (Cacchione) Klemm, age 77, of Erie passed away Saturday, December 27, 2025, at AHN St. Vincent following a long and courageous battle with Multiple Sclerosis.
Grace was born on October 21, 1948, in Los Angeles, CA., the daughter of the late Fred and Thomasina (Barletta) Cacchione. She was a 1966 graduate of Strong Vincent High School and had worked as a teller with the former Union Bank Co.
She was a member of St. Paul’s Roman Catholic Church and enjoyed her “Club Girls.” She had a passion for murder mysteries and classic movies, and she loved to sing along to her favorite oldies. Her greatest love was following the lives and activities of her children and grandchildren.
Grace is survived by her husband, James Klemm; her children, Kimberly Gahring and her husband Philip of Gordonsville, VA; Christopher Klemm and his wife Bonnie of Baltimore, MD; and Kevin Klemm and his wife Holly of Erie. She is the sister of Frederick Cacchione of Naples, FL and Cynthia Toscano and her husband Anthony of Erie. Grace is the proud grandmother of Abbigail (Nicholas), Max (Victoria), Dominic (Diana), Aidan, Isabella, Myla, and Mallory. Also surviving are several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Friends are invited to call Friday, January 2, 2026, at St. Paul Roman Catholic Church, 1617 Walnut St. from 11:00 am until 12 noon at which time a Funeral Mass will be celebrated. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society, 2115 W.8th St., Erie, PA 16505.
